Coffee at an outdoor cafe, but would have to be in Florence. Exotic dinners in fancy restaurants are often disappointments.

Cup of coffee at an open cafe' and then you can people watch and meet others and you are outside (hopefully the cafe' is in a very inviting place). I would vote for the cafe' any day.

Choices really don't make sense.
If I'm hungry for a meal I would go with dinner.
If I want just coffee and to people watch, I'll go to the cafe.
How about the cafe at mid afternoon and dinner about 8:00 p.m.??

Cafe for me. My little local cafe serves some food too, so it would be great to have an iced tea and a snack and sit out in the sun.

an exotic dinner tends to involve intestines,brains,liver, cheeses...usually items outside the usual "meat".
