I am a vegetarian by necessity: meaning I will eat the potatoes with the butter that my mother makes.
Vegan by choice: meaning if I have the choice i will eat soy cheese and milk and no eggs.
It is hard to be vegan all the way for me b/c my family (including my children) still eat meat, eggs, milk etc.
But when i cook for myself or others it's vegan all the way.

I am a Lacto-vegetarian. I don't touch eggs unless I have to use them in food.I have some left over from when I used to eat them so I will finish those sooner or later. I very rarely eat eggs at all. Why are you asking???

I'm a vegetarian. My diet is vegan, though...as soon as I rid myself of the leather shoes and purses, you can call me the latter.

I've been a Lacto-ovo vegetarian for 17 years now.
And I've never been anemic, not frail or weak, and I get plenty of amino acids and proteins. :)
