maybe guarantee a possible chance we might be head off a human induced trend of global warming? (mind you there are over 2 BILLION people that do not have electricity, and solar and wind generated power technology will NEVER be substantial enough to provide the "necessities" the west enjoys, ie. refrigerator, stove, lights... meaning clean water, lights to study by, refrigerators to keep medicine & food at temperature, dental drills, ... isn't it better allow low cost energy development and save humans lives now?

No. You are making assumptions based on today's technology and give no credit for future technological innovation which is finally getting the attention it deserves. I am working on development of green buildings and have seen some incredible advances in energy efficiency (never mind generation) in just the past couple of years. In the meantime, people in Third World countries need help now and really wouldn't appreciate the fact that you are sacrificing their health and well-being by preventing even limited energy use for desperately needed water, sanitation and medical care.

Hopefully will environmentally friendly technology (like filters in power stations etc. ) be much more valuable in the future with carbon credits. This will lead to more energy for the same amount of pollution. Also, more energy efficient inventions will be made (such as today's energy saving light bulbs).

Nobody is talking about keeping poor countries down. We just need to work with them to help them develop more efficiently than we did when we didn't know any better.

In some places, solar and wind and hydropower will be an important part of that. Depends on what will work well.

If we do nothing to reduce it global warming will hit hard, and the poor countries will be the worst affected. In rich countries, very large sums of money will help cope, and nobody will die. In poor countries, already struggling to feed themselves, damage to agriculture will cause many deaths by starvation.

The global warming is a scam and why are u pushing it. It is for the rich like Gore who doesn't want u to use all the jet fuel, but U can walk. CO2 is not a problem it fits into the job of the plants which take in the CO2 and give us back the O2 and keeps the C to make its own food.
