The beginning of diabetes - but since you are pregnant it may be gestational. See if your doctor will test you sooner - 200 is too high. Also avoid processed sugars. Eat fruit but limit your quantities. For instance, a diabetic should not have more then 10-12 grapes.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You need to see your physician now. If these readings are reproducible you do have gestational diabetes and it should be treated promptly. The glucose excursion of a non-diabetic is about 70 to 140 mg/dL (3.9 to 7.8 mmol/L) day and night irrespective of what when and how much you eat. Your numbers are clearly above this. Although physicians typically check for gestational diabetes at 20 weeks it may - and in your case it has - presented earlier than 20 weeks. Waiting 8 weeks for a glucose tolerance tests runs health risks for both you and the child. Please see your physician as soon as possible. The dizziness and headaches are not likely related to the gestational diabetes. I wish you and your child the very best of health and may God bless both of you.

It would have been better if u had checked fasting blood sugar. Random blood sugar equal to or more than 200 also qualifies for diagnosis of diabetes if accompanied by symptoms. This has to test positive at least once on a subsequent day. Given the family history, it is likely that this is diabetes. Many of those who have gestational diabetes also develop the disease sometime later in their lifetime. Please consult a diabetologist because diabetes has many adverse effects on the developing fetus. Good luck.

A blood sugar of 160-200 IS high and you very well could have developed gestational diabetes!! You might want to tell your doc to check you NOW for it instead of a few more weeks down the road, its not healthy for you or your baby!!!

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck ... guess what?
That being said, a normal blood sugar is 100. Diabetics have blood sugars between 160 and 200. Begin taking a 1 hour daily walk; work up to that, if need be. Begin eating like a Diabetic. It will be good for your baby, regardless and it will be good for you, as well. Start by decreasing the whites in your diet - sugar, flour, white rice, white potatoes.

It sounds to me like you are developing gestational diabetes. Be mindful of your diet, think about more proteins and less carbs - minimal carbs and be prepared for some type of medication once your doctor confirms it.
After you have the baby (congratulations by the way) you may have to continue with a diabetes treatment regime, but you will not know for sure for another 7 months or so.

Could be gestational diabetes, but I would check with your doctor. It's important to get your levels under control. Having high levels affects your eyesight, your nerves, your kidneys, lots of things. Take care of it. Don't ignore it.
