Spread tons of choclate coins(the gold foil ones) all over the tables. Label alcohol as grog. Go to the dollar sotre and get gummy octupuses and fish, whatever they have that lives in the ocean. Make some blue jello, put it in cups, then add gummies before it solidifies.
Put pirate flags on anything not piratey enough. Or put crossbones and skulls on it.

Seafood. maybe some of the imitation crab meat if you don't want to splurge for the real stuff. Shishkabobs, calamari. I created a kick as* Hot Rum Dip that goes awesome with any seafood. Yes. It involves rum. My cousin and I went as Pirates last year for Halloween and we blacked out a few of our teeth. You're probably already doing that but it's just a suggestion and it really topped off our costumes. We won 1st place at three different bars that night!!! Have fun.

Oreo Balls
• 1 package Oreo cookies
• 1 package cream cheese, softened
• 1 package almond bark
In a plastic bag crush Oreo cookies. In a bowl blend crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese. Roll into bite-size balls. Dip each ball into melted almond bark and place on waxed paper. Set in refrigerator and let chill. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate on each ball.
To make the "piratey" you can decorate them with skull and crossbones or add black sprinkles.

I think just any good dish would work fine, doesn't have to be "pirate" or anything.
You might consider putting out a bowl of lime wedges, so the "pirates" can suck on a lime and avoid scurvy (or be "lymies")

CARIBBEAN FUDGY BROWNIES
1/2 cup butter
3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon spicy or dark rum
1/8 teaspoon Jamaican allspice (optional)
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
Grease 8 inch square baking pan, greasing only the bottom and leaving the sides ungreased.
In a medium saucepan, stir together chocolate and butter over low heat setting until smooth, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar.
Whisk in eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt, vanilla and rum; stir only until mixture is smooth and all ingredients are combined.
Spread mixture into baking pan.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Watch carefully near later stage of cooking period to prevent overbaking or brownies may become dry. If your brownies consistently are dry or overbaked, try reducing oven temperature by 25 degrees.
Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
Note: To make a double batch, double all ingredients and use a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
VARIATIONS: Add one of the following - 3/4 cup walnuts, pecans, macadamia nuts, raisins, chocolate or peanut butter chips, or sprinkle chocolate chips over top just before baking.
If you like your brownies a little lighter, add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and a teaspoon of molasses.
CARIBBEAN STYLE SPICY BAKED POTATOES
3 lbs. potatoes
4 onions, finely sliced
8 large ripe tomatoes, cubed
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 1/2 tsp.paprika powder
3 tbsp. cumin powder
1 1/2 cup meat or chicken broth (can be substituted by
1 1/2 cup of water and one condensed broth cube)
1 tbsp. wheat flour
3 tbsp. parsley, finely chopped
3 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
salt & pepper to taste
Begin by boiling or baking the potatoes until halfway cooked but still somewhat firm. Let cool, then cut them in slices about 3/16" to 1/4" thick. You may leave the skin on.
In the meanwhile, sauté the onions in the oil, adding the garlic a bit later and then adding the tomatoes, paprika, cumin, flour and broth and continue cooking, stirring regularly until a thick, chunky sauce in obtained.
Add salt and pepper to your taste. In an oven-resistant transparent dish (or skillet), spread a very fine coating of the sauce, then divide the potatoes and the remaining sauce into three parts: place a layer of potatoes, sprinkle with a bit of salt (optional), cover it with a layer of sauce and sprinkle a tablespoon of parsley. Repeat 2 more times.
Place the dish into a 350º preheated oven and cook until most of the boiling liquid is gone and a golden brownish color is formed on its surface.
A tasty dish for a light meal or as a side dish. You can mate it with a medium-bodied red wine such a fresh Shirah, or a good frozen beer for those hot summer days!
PIRATE STICKS
1/2 lb. top sirloin beef, cut in cubes
8 mushrooms
8 sm. pieces green pepper
8 cherry tomatoes
1/4 c. bottled salad dressing
1 pkg. precooked rice
1. Put on each skewer 2 pieces of meat, a mushroom, a piece of pepper and a tomato. Repeat until the skewer is filled.
2. Spoon salad dressing over pirate sticks.
3. Put all 4 sticks in broiler pan without rack, 3 inches from flame.
4. Broil 15 minutes or until meat is done. Turn once.
5. Serve over hot cooked rice.
PIRATE STEAK
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Dijon type mustard
1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 lbs. beef sirloin, 1 1/2" - 2 " thick
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Mix all ingredients, except steak and salt and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Brush meat with sauce. Place steak on grill 4" from medium coals. Cook 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently with sauce. Season with salt and pepper after turning and after removing from grill. Serve with remaining sauce. 8 servings.
PIRATES PUNCH
20 oz. pineapple juice
20 oz. grapefruit juice
48 oz. apple juice
40 oz. rum
Mix. makes 1 gallon. For smaller batches, mix 1/3 rum to 2/3 juices.
