There is a quite a lot of changes in heart rate, during the day or night. Unless there are no signs and symptoms, your pulse is perfectly within normal range.
If you have pulse monitored there will be changes in minutes!! So kindly don't make it a compulsion, OK.

Your pulse rate can vary throughout the day. It's lowest when you first get up in the morning and at night. If you're excited or nervous it changes, it's nothing to be concerned about it. Exercising will increase it while resting (or watching tv) will decrease it. Also, anything between 60-100 is normal for a pulse.

The heart rate or what we call the pulse rate can change by the seconds. Try hooking yourself into the cardiac monitor, and you will find out that even your blood pressure changes within seconds.
There are many factors that can affect our heart rate,- physical activity, state of consciousness & emotions, etc. All these can contribute causing release of a variety of hormones interacting with each other , in our body. These are the ones taking over and dictating the heart rate seconds per seconds.

Yes, it can change minute to minute. If your pulses are 80 or under, you have a normal heart rate. Stress, anxiety, illness, medication, even simply watching tv, your rates can change. From what you have described, I think you are just fine.
