I was going to say white rice too. It's light and balances off the kabobs very well.

Roasted red potatoes, mild tasting and will compliment the kabobs. Mixed green salad is another that would go great with them, happy eating!

I agree with the person that said Rice-a-Roni.I've been using Rice-a-Roni "Fried Rice Flavor" for years to go along with beef shish-ka-bobs.It has little pieces of almond in it.Throw a little fresh chopped green onion in it before serving,and people will think you've been cooking all day.

I like just plain rice (not Instant). The kabobs are spicy and it cools it down a bit.

Kasha. Thats buckwheat. Cooks up sort of like rice but a good earthy flavor.
