I know its a matter of taste but I would like to have your thoughts! As one Korean girl told me that Korean food was much better and most Japenese would agree.

Definitely Korean food! Korean has sushi also, AND they also have dumplings, Kimchi, BBQ style meat..yum. I love their soups, noodles and hotpots. If you are ever in NYC, you have to check out Korea Town, by Penn Station. Then you will understand WHY Korean food is better...hehe.

They also has fantastic customer service and their appetizers are amazing!

If you came to Korea, you would see the WIDE variety in Korean food - based on region and province. The food varies widely within the country - although most people consider the food of Seoul and Gaesong to be the most time consuming to prepare and also the most delicious. Each region has it's specialty and dishes that set it apart from the rest of the country.

If you like spicy and garlicky foods - then you'll love Korean. It seems that most non Koreans are mostly familiar with BBQ meats, rice and the banchan side dishes, but Korean food is far more than that. We have cold noodles (so yummy in the summer), spicy cold noodles, hot noodles, thick noodles, handmade noodles in a variety of different broths.

We have many different casserole/stew type dishes - which aren't necessarily for the less adventurous. (one of the more famous Korean juhngeols is made out of tripe - spicy, rich and delicious if you like that sort of thing.)

Koreans have their own version of raw fish, raw shrimp, and raw octopus - (actually just killed and it wiggles down your throat, which you dip in the spicy red chili paste sauce)

Rice dishes abound here as well - and it's rice that is plain, or mixed with vegetables, or mixed with sprouts or mixed with meat and vegetables - the list goes on.

Each region has their own version of Mandoo- although two most popular ones seem to be Kaesong mandoo and Seoul Mandoo. Sometimes they are fried, steamed, boiled, in broth, just on it's own, but all delicious.

Korean desserts - beautifully created, many rice based, are delicious and there are so many different varieties. Koreans have also a delicious set of "after dinner sweet drinks" which are also wonderful and tasty. (time consuming to prepare.)

I'd go Korean for the variety any day - don't be fooled into thinking there isn't a lot of choice.

i've got had genuine nutrition from all 3 places (meaning in maximum situations going to the international places, being in human beings's properties who cooked genuine dishes, and not purely interior of reach eating places interior the U.S. which have "Americanized" their dishes.) My favourite is jap nutrition notwithstanding chinese language has plenty style looking on the place you're in China that it is not elementary to grant it an opinion as one nutrition. i like nutrition from the Sichuan (Szechuan) area. this is quite spiced, yet do no longer particularly look after the spiciness of Korean nutrition. I nevertheless think of this is especially solid, yet choose the others.

Lived in ROK for 18 months and ate Rotten Cabbage, fish that was dried in the middle of the street and the German Shepherds were a little on the stringy side...
So, I guess I'll stick with Japanese.....
