I don't watch the program anymore, so I'm not even sure if they're on an island or what! However, using an island theme is easy to do, especially in your back yard:

1. Use a fire pit to create a sense of the outdoors during the evening time.
2. If you have a pool, then use plants and other greenery to camoflauge the cement walls. If you don't have a pool, then get a wading pool and create the same ambience by using sand, plants etc. Purchase large silk flowers at a crafts store and place them in the greenery for an exotic appeal.
3. Most of the folks on Survivor look pretty tanned and grungy as the series progresses, so invite everyone to wear something that looks like what their favorite Survivor hero would wear. And smear dirt on their faces!
4. Food can include items such as fresh fruit kabobs, shredded pork barbecue, baked sweet and regular potatoes cut in half or in french fries, corn tamales rolled in banana leaves, flat bread to represent "hard tack", and cupcakes. You can also create an "island salad" by using romaine leaves topped with a "mystery" dressing of your choice. Serve drinks in mason jars or hulled coconuts.
5. Your cake can be a tiered number that represents different parts of the island, perhaps even a waterfall. Flavors should include chocolate, marble, strawberry or whatever your daughter's favorite is. And lots of frosting!

Click here for a whole lot of ideas for a Survivor party: http://209.15.117.162/html/survivor_party.html

Lots of the ideas on the above site are great; there are too many to write here. The only thing I would recommend is not eliminating anyone, or at least figure out something for the "losers" to still participate in while the rest of the game is going on. Otherwise it would be a very boring party for them!

A Survivor party is an awesome idea. Have fun!

Sounds like great fun. I like some of the ideas on here.

you can have the kids transport like chicken livers from one bucket to another...

peeled grapes is another icky feeling item... have the towelettes ready for the hands... you know the scare on handling raw foods.

Blind fold them then have gummy bears to place in their mouths

and

make them eat the sweetened bugs... Chocolate coat large cashews and almonds and pecan halves and they have to eat these thinking they are chocolate covered bugs.

cold cooked spaghetti in a red food coloring to represent veins...

Good Luck & have fun
