I am awaiting some tests on a possible heart problem and have high blood pressure I need travel insurance in case anything goes wrong whilst waiting I am due on holiday in a copule of weeks and dont think I would have been seen before I am due to go does anyone know of any company that will cover me I have searched and searched to no avail. thanks guys

I think your doctor or the companies recommended doctors are in a position to give a prognosis certificate. The later are comparatively strict anyway you need not to worry about them. I once disqualified a person from going on to pilgrimage as he was a case of IHD+HTN + BPH, but after much intervention I allowed him to take the voyage of seven days, Pheww! and you know what; after completing his pilgrimage he was standing in front of me smiling. Imagine 7 days and 6 nights.
From that day onward I didn't rendered anybody unfit to go on pilgrimage, as all lies in HIS hands, we are just human beings.

A company called MEDICOVER is excellent for times like this. Their phone number is 0870 735 3600. They may be a bit more expensive but they will give you travel insurance with peace of mind. I've used them when I was awaiting hospital appointments/assessments.
