I am looking for a list of legumes that when mature (not green) can be used like a peanut without being cooked?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks for these suggestion but I already consume sprouts and green legumes everyday.

I was hoping to find something to alternate for peanuts in my trailmix that already has fruits, veggies, seeds and nuts in it.

Not many really (in fact, off hand I can't remember any). They all become hard and need soaking or cooking to be edible. Green peas, green gram and many more.

alfalfa is a legume and the sprouts can be eaten raw, green peas can also be eaten raw....i like both in salads

i would say you can eat any of them raw, it just depends on how many teeth you want to break. i would stick with green beans.
