New BP machine-Was it improper taking my part? Take
1-80 mg diovan 12 hours before-1-50 mg atenolol 12 hrs before. Any suggestion about such a range in short time.

To: Harmony: I suppose I was not clear in the 50 steps. I do walk 1-3 miles daily-do farm labor in moderate fashion
etc. I was simply explaining that I took a few steps (50) between the first BP reading and the second. That was my question? Sorry you misunderstood.

sounds like nothing to worry about. Keep a log of your BP checks to show your Dr. next time you go. If you experience faintness, dizziness, or extreme headache you would need to call the Dr.

Get more exercise. A walk of 50 steps is not normally considered strenuous exercise, but judging by your blood pressure it is for you.
