if they fit your feet and you're interested in doing some technical climbing, the five ten anasazi velcroes are hands down the best shoe for women. otherwise, there are also the madrock hotties, which are a less expensive option, but they're not as technical. there's also the five ten sirens, which are really more for trad (they're super comfy). la sportiva also makes a women's mythos, which, in my opinion, has a far inferior rubber and fit. best of luck!

The "best" shoe is whatever fits your foot the most comfortably. If you are new to climbing, why get put off by the sport because you bought what someone else told you was the "best" but it really hurt your feet? (Been there, done that!) If you go to a reputable climbing store, even several REI's, they should have a very good selection to try on PLUS a wall for you to try them on. Things that are comfie on the ground may not be on a wall, and vice versa. I have the FiveTen Siren, which I hate on the ground but LOVE on crags!

People have different sizes and shapes of foot, so what works for one may not work for another. Check madrockshoes.com fiveten.com or others.
