I've tried it before. The longest I was ever on it was about three weeks. It is quite difficult and I found myself going to the bathroom ALL the time....my body just used only what it needed and got rid of it immediately. Raw food doesn't take too long to digest.
I normally only do it every once and a while to get a good body cleanse. It's very refreshing!
I actually didn't eat anything that was processed. I ate fresh fruit for breakfast. I think you can have Meusli...it's bare-bones and fibrous.
Good luck!

Most Meusli is baked.
I am doing Raw Veganism as my Summer Project... I am at my 6th. week. Some days it's smooth some days the craving(addiction) for cooked food is high. I really notice it if I'm having a stressful day. The reason I am doing Raw is all I have read & seen regarding it's Healing Power. I am coming out of a long term illness & need to jump start my health.

I started 2 weeks ago and I love it. It's okay if you're 50% to 75%. Because your body will adjust and you'll feel great! I think I'll always be 75% raw, because dinner has to be cooked.

I bought a lot of books about raw and the best one so far with the most information is:

"Rainbow Green Live-Food Cousine" This book will give you all the information you need. It also has awesome recipes!!!

If you want to know more about it go to:

I tried it back when I had no money and no job.. I lived in a small homemade wood trailer in Unorganized township. I ate simply whatever I saw rabbits eat. this was for 3 seasons of the year spring summer and fall... luckily I got a job in time for winter. Loblaws Marketplace in Thunderbay Ontario. When You have no money and no jobs available.. then you do what you can to get by.

i've been around 80% raw for nearly three months. i manage it by doing LOTS AND LOTS of reading, getting a good blender, juicer and spirulizer, and collecting recipe books (i call them uncookbooks).

it's not as hard as you think it is. it's work, yes, but it doesn't have to be super-difficult.

read "living on live food" by alissa cohen, as well as "the raw food detox diet" by natalia rose for two different approaches.
