Sometimes. If you search for your document with google and then click on the "view as HTML" link. Or you can download this extension for firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/636

This extension gives you an option to convert to HTML however it cannot always do this.

You can also change your internet settings to open PDF files with "foxit reader" or any other pdf viewer instead of adobe. You need to click on "tools" in your firefox menu, then "options", then click the "content" icon, then click "manage" under the "file types" section, then navigate to the .pdf file type, then click "change action", then click "open with this application" then browse to the foxit program, click "OK". Done

well if u cant install your adobe acrobat installer in ur browser or if u don want to download any applications and plugin then u have only one option use any web based reader .
Theres a lot of such services online but the best one is from Google Mail . Yes if u do have your account there then mail urself that pdf file as an attchment to your gmail id.
then you will have the option of opening your pdf file within browser using gmail .
and its Fast too.

So problem solved ...??

No, but if you don't like Acrobat reader, try the Foxit reader.
