Youngest: Eighteen. Most appropriate: older than 18 - kind of up to you, but you probably would want somebody more mature - maybe 30 or so.

Just as long as it's not illegal.. I dated a 41 yr old for a year when I was 19. We had a great time together, went out, traveled. If there is a connection, and feelings are mutual, have at it!

Whatever the minimum legal age of consent is wherever you live. They get all needy and cellulite-y the older they get, so fresher is better.
