yes, because i did and i haven't had a drink of booze in 20 years. i also have to tell you that it will be hard and will involve some intense emotional pain. there is no easy way.

Drinking what? I suppose you are referring to alcohol? If so, yes that person can stop drinking alcohol either by themselves or with the help of AA. If the person is drowning in booze it would be a good thing to get out of the alcohol ocean and never swim again

Of course he can quit. My husband was a severe alcoholic. He took the steps and chose to quit. It was not easy. He had many physical symptoms from the withdrawls but he was strong and has done great. 6 years and going. Good luck

no. he can never stop from drinking... but he can regulate his drinking habit.

mind you who could ever stop on drinking?
