When I use it, I mean it like "Oh D**n!" but my boyfriend said I was wrong, it's the devil?

Hi, it is correcto to use ¡Diablos! meaning ¡Damn! (or Darn)

El Diablo = The Devil
diablos = devils, demons (in some contexts)

Damn! = ¡Maldición! ¡Demonios! ¡Diablos!
Damn it! = ¡Maldita sea!
Darn! = ¡Diantres! ¡Diablos!

Hope that helps ;)

yep, "diablo" means devil. It's used in the Italian Language. I also believe that it's also Spanish for "devil".

*sigh* Diablo's are my fave super car!

As far as I know you can say "oh diablos", "oh demonios" for "oh damn"... alternatively, you can say "¡Maldito sea!"
