You can blame satan or man's free will, but it still comes down to God's will (if God is indeed, all powerful). This doesn't mean God makes bad things happen, only that God allows bad things to happen, as God allows good things to happen.

We were created to take care of each other and to love each other. This isn't easy. It takes practice. We are here to learn.

I've given impromptu sermons on the subject, but that's what it boils down to. Life is hard, because we are here to learn. People do cruel & stupid things, because they are failing the class. We can try and tutor them, help them learn, or at least make sure they don't drag down the rest of the class with them.

And as to the bad things that happen, I think Bill Hicks said it far better than anyone.

"The world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because... this is just a ride.""

'cause the Christians have DOGMAS and not KNOWLEDGE!

Their Dogmas make them think the way that God actually has not created.

When Christians STOP thinking that Christianity is THE ONLY TRUTH and start realizing its Real place in the world, their sufferings and bad things created by them will end...

...Christians, Come Out of your self created shell... Do not make the death of Christ a waste... Presently you ARE doing it!

There is a huge world OUTSIDE CHRISTIANITY!!!!

See it and bad things will vanish!

Remember Bad things happen because you invite them.

Bad things happen because we do what we want to do, not want God wants us to do. We make wrong decisions all the time, ones that hurt other people and we only care about whether we are happy and getting what we want. If we all did what God asks of us, bad things would not happen (God does not ask us to do anything that harms another person).

Events happen. We label it good and bad. An event that is good for somebody, may look bad for others. George Bush enjoys the war, and the world suffers. Event is the same and perception differs. Wisdom is knowing that everything is changing. Good or Bad, the situations are supposed to change. don't get hooked into a belief system, whether Christian or muslim. Be wise. don't get hooked to events.

Don't understand why you would ask a question but only be interested in one perspective.

Bad things happen because God want to try the level of our faith, and it also makes people to get closer to Him. if bad thing did not happen how would you know there is God who can deliver us from evil. The Lord assure us that He will deliver us from the snares of the fowler and the noisome pestilence. So God make good and bad things to happen to take to the next level of faith

If you study the theology in the Bible and other compatable writings....it is agreed that satan is the 'prince of the earth' and has it his way at present. Man has freewill to follow satan or God. If you truly follow God then you will live your life by the pattern set by Jesus in His words and the way He lived. To follow satan you have to do nothing more than live your life with whatever sin is in it, without conscience or care.
Man, who has the freewill to do as he wishes has invented many great things over the centuries.....bows and arrows for killing animals for meat.....what did he end up doing with it...killing other men... Man discovered nuclear power and used it for good..then what did he do with it...made bombs to kill people. Whilst ever man is in satans employ on earth, things will go wrong......everything is attributable to man(influenced by satan) on earth.
Those who try to follow the Christian pattern should not do wrong unless by mistake....I am not talking about those who call themselves Christians because they go to Church, or their parents are Christians or they believe in God (satan believes in God).
To sum up:- Bad things happen because of man (influenced by satan) but Jesus is coming back...Oh yes He is...and it will be soon as the signs in the Bible are telling us we are in the 'End Times' now.
Everyone has to make their choices whilst they can...you can sit back and do nothing or find out the truth about the Gospels.

(Ecclesiastes 9:11) I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.

God allows bad things to happen. Take the story of Job for example. Job had everything God allowed Satan to take it all from him. His family his herds everything he had he even made him sick. But Job never cursed or turned away from God and God blessed him with so much more than he had to start with.
