Why, Brothers and Sisters, do we spend so much time questioning each others doctrine. Should we not concentrate on saving sinners?
Jesus said:
John 13:34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
The Jews doctrine was different to that of Jesus, but did it stop him from loving them? No! my point is this, by ignoring those of differing doctrine we ignore the heart of the law, which is love! Why are we wasting time, when time is short. No church should be empty whilst there are sinners left to save. Let us work together, as the churches of Jesus time did, and bring good news to those who are waiting for it. Am i right?

I agree Brothers and Sisters, that truth is important, and that there can only be one truth. But we all have so many interpretations of the truth, that we would spend forever argueing!, seperation is what Satan wants! and argument is not acting out of love. it is important to maintain a balance betweer truth and love. For example My friend is dying, his minister, who teaches that the dead go to heaven straight away is at his bedside as well as me, I believe that we are all asleep until the resurrection. We can not both effectively minister to him, so one of us must act out of LOVE and give ground. The other minister is just as convinced as i am that he has the truth, and so he should be! But doctrine should never be as important as Love. You should use love to apply doctrine at the proper time, and not enter into arguments.
seperation is what Satan wants! Let us not let him win!!

Because religion is the root of evil and war. Economic reasons come in second.

We question others' doctrines to ensure that what they believe and teach is the truth. Jesus countered the false doctrines of the Pharisees and Sadducees of His time. For example:
Matthew 23:23
23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
The apostle Paul frequently disputed with doctors of the Law;
Acts 19:8-9
8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
9 But when some were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
And especially;
Acts 13:44-46
44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
We have a responsibility to counter false doctrines, and to question those which do not seem to be supported by the Word of God.
We can love others, and still question them if we feel that they are in error. What will you tell Jesus when a person teaching errors stands before Jesus at the Judgment and Jesus turns to you and says, "You knew the truth, and didn't seek to correct this person's doctrine. Why?"
You can love a person straight to Hell by allowing them to promote errors without seeking to correct them if they are wrong.
The apostle Paul warned us:
I Thessalonians 5:21
21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.
If you truly love sinners, teach them the truth. If you truly love fellow believers who believe and teach errors, correct them with the truth. In doing this, you you may save both.

All good, yes, but why cannot Christians understand that atheists and pagans and agnostic already KNOW all of this, and still choose to make light of their situation by rejecting evrything you have to say? When you keep hammering on this theme of "love for the sinner"-They don't want to hear it; they've heard it all before a million times. Do you think it's possible that when Christians, no doubt well meaning but misguided, keep on doing this that a thresh hold is reached where you begin to actually do more harm to the cause of the gospel than good? Did not Christ say, "Do not cast your pearls before swine, lest they turn on you and hurt you?". Why, why, why, -do young Christians feel it's their singular mission in life to "save" the atheists? News flash- THEY DON'T WANT TO BE SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's probably better for you to focus and concentrate on your brothers and sisters in Christ and leave the rest to God for Him to deal with in His sovereign way, and time. It is far better for you to tend to the needs of the poor and needy- not people who are willfully blind and hateful against God. Prioritize your efforts and strengthen that which is weak-the faith of new Christians. Put your energies on them and their spiritual growth in God. The seed has already been planted world wide. Let God worry about the increase. Ok? Stop "loving" and trying to "save" that which isn't worth doing so for by their own words.

While there are things that we can disagree on as Christians, there are things that we cannot. Sometimes, we must point out things in others doctrine to ensure that everyone understands biblical principles properly. Isn't this love? It's the booger on the face idea. Wouldn't you want to me to tell you if you had something on your face like that? All I, or anyone else, can do is offer up some info so that others can weigh it and see if it makes sense in light of truth (the Word of God).

As long as you stick with those people who have an interest, I have no problem with this BUT too many Christians need to force thier beliefs on those of us who have already heard your arguements and rejected them.
The problem with Christian preaching is that it is almost entirely based on fear - with a dash of love thrown in for good measure. I, for one, refuse to be ruled by fear. Another problem is the implied (often blatently) message that anyone who doesn't believe as you do is ignorant and stupid, misguided, or evil.
We don't need to be quoted from a Bible that we don't believe in. That does not constite as proof of anything. But most of you preaching just can't understand that, can you?
I can believe in Jesus and his teachings BUT I do not believe in the Bible because it is NOT the teachings of Spiritual Enlightenment but just another false path into the Darkness. Think about that if you will.
If you could say anything to me about your beliefs without quoting a book or a 'leader' then I would listen.
In Light and Love.

Because we are all searching for the real TRUTH.
Satan has done his best to confuse the facts that Jesus made so clear.
False religion is named in the Bible as " Babylon the Great".
(Revelation 18:4-5) And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5Â For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.
This 'Babylon' is said to have ' relations' with ' The kings of the earth' and ' the travelling merchants'.
These are governments and big business.
Organised religion is the only other candidate for the title of Babylon.

No, you are not right. No one who believes that the god of Moses is holy can know or understand the love that John speaks of in that verse. Be smart, reject the god of Moses and let The Holy Spirit enlighten you. This reproof includes you jw's. You are correct about the trinity being a false doctrine, you are wrong about the god of the o.t., he is satan pure and simple.

The simplest answer is "IGNORANCE" of other religions. When we learn the good in other religions, we never become the puppets of the belief systems. Every belief system is our enemy. They put curtains on our eyes. They want to keep us in dark for their own survival.
