Many people did not understand what I meant with my question . I would like if there was an entity bigger than us,call it God OR whatver else,a supernatural entity in which I could confide , a just entity that would help those in need ,our world would be a different place if such a God was in place. That to me is the cool God.

Well, if there were a God that actually interacted with humans, I don't think there'd be quite as many atheists. Regardless of whether or not he was 'cool'.

I'd be delighted if there was any god at all! It would be a fascinating area of study, and a whole new universe effectively to explore.
Of course it would be great if this deity interacted with humans, so that scientists and people could ask questions about such things as: how He both alters and transcends the laws of physics; what He's made of, and countless other queries.
But - nice as it it to muse on such things - there isn't the faintest chance of them taking place. Gods are a ludicrous fiction that humanity needs to grow out of.

I just don't feel the need at all to 'confide' in a god or whatever. That's whats friends and family are for.
It is an unnecessary, extraneous crutch for those with low self esteem and no backbone.

Yes - a god or gods would be great. We could blame all sorts of things on it; we could answer all sorts of questions without any evidence; we could force people around us to do what we wanted just by saying its the will of that god.
mmmm very tempting but NO! ill stick with truth, self reliance and self responsibility thank you.

Depends upon ones definition of a god. If it was a person who somehow came up with a way to attain special abilities that enabled them to become comparatively powerful, then they would be godlike. But in this case it really depends upon you the questioner. What is a god to you?

That would be some sort of evidence, especially if he could do cool tricks like the bible talks about, i am not being sarcastic just calling them as i see them.

No.. there is no need for a deity of any sort humans are responsible for themselves and thier society(s)... We as humans should stop looking to mythology to solve our problems and start looking to ourselves..
Greek and Roman deities became obsolete when science explained the natural processes they were said to be responsible for.. I wonder when modern day deities will become obsolete and will they be replaced with future deities...

There is but one cool God, the Grand Creator. You should take the worthwhile time to learn about him.

I really could care less if there was one or not. I am happy with my life how it is, but if there was one walking around I would probably believe in it,
