The best way to loose weight is to change your lifestyle to consuming less calories then you are using in a day.

Problem with diets is that you start them (weight watchers, this pill, that pill, slim fast, only fruit, south beach... the list goes on) and you are eating in a weird unnatural way that helps you loose weight. But all diets must come to an end and at the end of the weird pill/shake mixture you are back to eating real food and if you eat just like you did before you started the diet you will put the weight right back on (within 6 months usually). Bad idea.

Good idea - eat better forever. Consume less high fructose corn syrup (which converts directly into blood surgar and fat), which means minimal to no soda - at all. Limit your fruit juice intake to real fruit juice and still just a few glasses a day. Lots of water - lots of water. 80% of the time when you think you're hungry you're really thirsty. So take account of when you think you're hungry and if it hasn't been 4 hours or so since your last meal have a glass of water first, wait 20 minutes and if you still feel hungry have a moderate snack.

Water not only helps cleanse out your system, it also reduces hunger, aids in digestion and reduces water weight. On top of that try to eat more natural fruits, veggies and meats (natural foods always have less calories the preprocessed "convienence" foods) while at the same time not denying yourself. When you deny yourself a particular food then it tends to be the first thing you crave when you're depressed, tiered, in the mood for junk food or whatever, and when you've been denyed it you're a lot more likely to have 10 cookies rather then 2. So enjoy the foods you enjoy in moderation. (I love chocolate and usually have a cookie after dinner, but I only have 1 or 2 which is only around 150 calories - not going to hurt me.)

Your body craves what you teach it to crave. If every time you have low blood sugar you eat a candy bar then when you get low blood sugar and shaky your mind doesn't think low blood sugar = eat food to renurish, it thinks I want chocolate. But if every time you had low blood sugar you had an apple then you will slowly loose your cravings for chocolate or soda or whatever else is your comfort food of choice.

And the last and greatest addition to a good diet is fun exersice. Doing something every day or a few times a week that you enjoy doing - walking, joining a fun gym, a nice dance workout video, running with a friend, or I even have a friend that does belly danicng. It doesn't really matter as long as you're doing something you enjoy and want to continue doing (lets be real in our busy lives if we don't enjoy our workout we will never end up doing it). Becuase on top of building muscle and increasing our metabolism, working out will give you more energy, help you burn more calories while you're at rest, help you loose more weight while not denying yourself foods you enjoy, and make your heart, lungs, and body a healthier place to be.

this is what i did i got a spiral
i wrote what i ate and how many calories i ate 1400 Calories
i exercised starting a15 min slow run then i added 5 min every month until i got to 30
or if u don't run do a brisk walk and keep adding time
get a list of sites like bmi counters fun recipes etc.
also give yourself one day every 20 days to eat as much as u want
when u go to a restaurant take half off ur plate and put it in a box so u can eat later
eat all the food groups even fat in moderation
from 4 to 8 cups of water tea or coffee
set goals and tackle two or 3 at a time
give yourself present for every 5 to 20 lbs u loose get yourself a pair of jeans or something
remember it is a change of lifestyle not a diet
if at some point you need to crash diet do not do it for more then 20 days but i do not recommend this
try to keep it off forever

Hi Jose! The best diet to loose weight is eat raw and cooked vegetables,eat 5 kind of fruits everyday and drink lots of water[at least 14 glass of water,not very cold] .You should avoid carbonated drinks and food added with preservatives.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Dont know but dont starve yourself cause when that day comes and you want to gobble everything you see you are going to put on kilo's and a lot of them. Get yourself that herbex stuff and then you lose what your suppose to.
