it's summer and i have 8 weeks to have a better body. I currently do turbo jam which is pretty much cardio for 50 mins a day and sometimes i use resistance bands and weights. I curently weight 150 lbs and want to be at least 135 by the end of the 8 weeks. Also, i eat three times a day. How can i achieve more successful results?

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

eat at the same time everyday. your body will no longer store extra fat, because it will "know" you are going to eat again at a certain time.

NO POP OR JUICE
drink only water.or diet pop ( if you MUST have pop )

NO SUGAR
if you get a sweet tooth eat some fruit.

I put my hubby on a diet of no sugar or pop and he has lost 50 LBS.... thats with no excercise and eating as he normally does

Eat smaller more spread out meals and try to stay on your feet most of the day.the more time you spend sitting or lying down the less calories your burning. Good luck
