Gentlemanly behaviour can be acquired by watching that you do things associated with being a gentleman, like holding the door open for women and older people, not butting in on conversations, let people finish speaking, being courteous.
It is not all about cultured speech and being well dressed.
Saying thank you and please is a good way to begin.

Being a gentleman is about upholding manners and social conventions and presenting a decent character to the world, but at heart a gentleman is probably the worst of rogues.

A gentleman, my god there are hardly any of them around! So go for it, i prefer a gentleman. Opening doors is a good start, getting up when the lady leaves the table, picking her up for the date/taking her home, listening, being polite, getting the bill etc. But don't over bake it! x

If you are generally polite and well behaved, especially in the presence of ladies, you are already considered a gentleman. I see no reason for a gentleman, if he is one, to go out of his normal good behavioral routine to prove that he is truly one.

Have self respect. Of course if you have that then you know how to treat other people right. In return they'll treat you the same way & look at you as a gentleman with respect.

Hold the door for others, not just pretty girls. Walk around the car to open for your date. Pay the bill with discretion at fine eateries. Pick her up. Call Her. Let her wear your coat if shes cold. Just think in general.

Dress well, be well educated... And most importantly learn to play the bagpipes but refrain from playing them in earshot of anyone else.
