My cat licks me in my sleep it's getting irittating I am extremly ticklish it was just licking my feet what should I do?Oh and I know that I am overly ticklish because of my guy friend.

cats have scent glands in their mouths, pads in their feet, at the base of their tails. it could just be that he/she is marking his/her territory. when cats rub up against your leg its not to get your attention but rather to leave its scent on you. its a normal behaviour for a cat. but if its really that annoying just close your bedroom door at night so that your cat cant get in :)

I have 3 cats out of 6 that like to lick people.

It could be trying to get you to play or it could be licking the salt. Cats and dogs like to lick us on the skin for the sweat that has salt in it. I can understand about the tickling, all I can say is cover your feet, haha :)

Yes, it is very normal. Cats enjoy the taste of salt and human skin is very salty because we perspire. My cat loves to try to lick my boyfriend's armpit after he works out, it is so gross but we have to laugh about it. But apparently the salty sweat is a treat to him! :-)

yes he or she is licking the salt off your body even if u do not know it is there.
