you still can fly on a plane even you have panic attack. Try to relax yourself and find something you can do in the airplane, such as listen to music or watch the movie on the screen. It helps

Yes, a doctor will prescribe you something for the flight. You can also try going to therapy. Your outlook is especially good if your panic attacks only occur when flying. Phobias are easier to treat than something like panic disorder.

I would talk to my doctor about getting something to calm my nerves for the flight. I have some issues myself with flying, also with going out anywhere there is people I dont know but I just have to tell myself that its going to be alright and make sure I take my medication otherwise I totally freak out and start counting, pacing, or writing lists because these are my safty zones and make me feel more in control.
You can always try to prepare yourself for the trip well in advance it could help

Perhaps go see your doctor and ask them what you can do about it. They might advise you see a psychiatrist or something to sort out your panic attack, or else prescribe you something to calm down.
Alternatively, there might be self help books out there to assist you in overcoming your panic attacks with flying?

Have you ever heard of using a period.?? Well, I suggest bringing things along with you to keep your mind off of having these panic attacks. Something such as a book, some music or snacks, anything to keep yourself comfortable, and calm.

One of my friends HATES flying. She takes a certain drug to make her fall asleep right after she boards. Maybe listening to an iPod or other MP3 player would help...

i wouldn't go on the trip until you can get over your fear or else you will have a miserable time being scared, i dont think its worth it. stay home and work out your problems first
