Let me just say that I am in now way an expert on this issue, but I have a theory. I'm thinking that she recognizes the diaper you are using on her are uncomfortable and she is old enough to realize this and want to take away the feeling. Maybe start using a bigger diaper or even those that look like they are regular underwear (again, I'm in no way an expert on these issues lol so maybe I'm thinking of something else), I seen a commercial call I'm a big kid now diapers or something like that. I hope this helps.

My last three kids wouldn't keep a diaper on past 14 months. It was very frustrating. I tried to keep one piece clothing on them. It helped some and i also would put shipping tape over the tabs and stopped it in the back . It is harder for them to reach in behind to take the tape off. It worked until potty trained. I did have to resort to duct tape on my last son. Very flexible in the shoulders, could reach his back very easily.

I can relate! My daughters (2 of them) both did this, and it was not because they were ready to be potty trained! I have gone to such lengths as duct taping the tabs on, as well as sewing the zipper on their footy pajamas (in winter), lol! It was a real mess! The best thing I could do was put them in clothes that they couldn't take off themselves (one piece with zippers or buttons in the back). They will grow out of it, and as far as I could see, that is the only thing that will work! Best of luck! :)

when she takes them off then sit her on the potty...get her some of the training undies that have extra fabric in the middle so that if she does wet herself it will be absorbed...maybe she knows that she is getting too old for them...think of this as a good thing...when i potty trained my nephew he WANTED the diapers and when I would put the undies on him he would take them off and put a diaper on to go to the bathroom....so i would say just take the diapers away unless your going out in public....hope this helps!! : )

Is it that she's wriggling out of it or unpeeling the tabs? If that's the case, try putting it on backwards. If she's just wriggling out of it, I dunno- just stick with the potty training thing. She'll get it eventually :)
EDIT: I just the answer bove me that said she's too young...my daughter is 25 months old, and has just almost completed four weeks of no nappies in the day. Keep trying if she's ready.

Spank her little ***.
No, just kidding. But let her know you express disappointment when she does it. You know your child, so tell her something that would make her think about it. Like for example my nephew would poop (in his pamper) and we'd tell him "you don't want to be all stinky, do you?" and he was potty trained within a week.
Maybe with your daughter you can tell her that big girls don't do that. They do this (what ever you want her to do).

by potty training you are encourging her to remove her diaper
she is to young to potty train at this point anyway (wait till she is closer to 3 or starts to tell you she is ready)
if you train to early she is more likely to have more accidents than most kids
your son probably didnt do it cause boys are slower than girls and he probably just never picked it up
