Nothing! Let noone tell you different, Thousands and thousands of enlightened americans are doing this right now with solar panels, wind farms, geo-thermal power plants and hydro-electric systems of their own. In fact, energy providers are required by law to buy energy that you create at your home!
Not only is it free electricity, you get paid for it!.
So invest in some solar panels! If you have a big yard, get wind mills. If you have a stream, hire an engineer to build a hydroelectric generator. Or something any land owner can do is investigate the possibility of geothermal heating.
Did you know that?

The problem is called Conservation of Energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It merely changes forms. Some forms of energy include:
Kinetic - the energy a moving object has
Potential - the energy stored in a certain configuration of objects, such as lifting a rock off the ground (higher potential energy)
Chemical Potential - the energy stored in configurations of atoms and molecules
Electrical - energy stored in the motions of electrons in wires
When you are describing "free electricity", I believe you are really asking for free energy that comes from nowhere. This does not exist; it is prohibited by the laws of physics. You must always get the energy from somewhere.
On the other hand, if you use a loose definition of "free", you can get free electricity by hooking up an exercise bike to an electric generator. You could power several light bulbs this way, but since you can operate an exercise bike just fine in the dark, this seems rather futile.

COST OF ELECTRICITY HAS TWO COMPONENTS
1) FIXED COSTS .-- interest cost of capital investment for plant and machinery for generation and distribution of electricity plus certain percentage of profit for the investors . , operation and maintenance costs , plant overhead costs
2) VARIABLE COSTS .-- cost of fuel or source of energy .
By selecting alternative source of energy like solar, wind , hydal, wave/tidal or nuclear variable cost part and some of the fixed cost part can be reduced but can not be eleminated altogether .
So, electricity may be made cheaper but not entirely free similar to other consumer goods .

The problem is that no one will make money. Its too bad we live in a world thats based on greed.
I suppose because you want free electricity, that in itself is greed.... huh, I never thought about it like that.
