I can hear a fan kick on when I try to turn on the air conditioner but nothing will blow out! My warranty just ran out so that sucks for me! Can I fix this myself or do I need to take it back to the dealer? Please help me!

OK. Let me ask you if you have been a customer of your local dealership...if so then they will be able to help you..In other words give you a freebee..but if you haven't...then this is what is wrong...when you turn on any climate control, whether a/c or heater, you can hear the blower running, but you can not feel any air coming out of the vents...you have a blower door actuator that is not working......Let me ask you this...when you say nothing will blow out...is this on every setting, like vent and heater? but if the compressor is clicking on, and you turn the fan cycling switch on, test every setting...if you don't hear the blower working...then you might just have a blown resistor for the blower motor...check your relay and your fuses...and by all means...get on the passenger side and kick the crap out of the black housing just above your feet....sometimes a good jar will make the motor come on...if you would like for me to help you...you can email me back...gotspeed7883@yahoo.com..I am a GM master tech and master service advisor..will help you any way I can...
