What would you do with $50 Million ?

I would buy a plot of land in the country. Build about 100 houses on it, invite 99 good honest people to join me at a peppercorn rent and shut this evil world out my not allowing televisions, radio or telephones within the hamlet.

Well I'm South African - so $50 Million would equal about R360 Million .
1. I wouldn't show up for work the next day.
2. Buy a few Properties
3. Invest about 100 Million and live of the interest
4. Go on my trip around the world.
5 Donate about half of the interest I get a month to charities (About R50000)
6. Set my parents up for a comfortable retirement
7. Pay of my families debt.
Sigh....the good life

If I won $50 million in the lottery, I would get out of debt, and help other people who have a hard time in life.

i would invest most of it in bonds (5% APR of 50,000,000 is 2,500,000 per year, then give the rest to my kids/grandkids/greatgrandkids once I die) and buy a helicopter and start a company flying people around for whatever they need.
Sad fact, some thing like 90% of lotto winners are BROKE within 10 years:(
I don't waist my money on the lotto, so this would not happen to me.
Good question to help people see what they should do with their life.

This may sound silly but I would donate some money to my work to build a new building I oversee and then I would give money to loved ones. invest some, give to chariety, perhaps purchase a bigger nicer house and go on vacation. In all this I don't beleive I would quit my job as I really do like what I do.

I'd help the stray animals with some of it some to buy me a home and some to spend on myself some for my future and ofcourse some investment. But I'll be helping the stray animals for sure I just feel so strongly for their welfare. Ofcourse in caring for them there will be job opportunities for people to care for them so eventually I'll be serving both men and animals.

I would pay off my and my families debt.move to Vegas, buy a high rise condo overlooking the strip and party like a rockstar.

I'd have big party spend a third of it on drink a third of it on women and I'd waste the rest of it
