God had no problem with the decision to cause the flood and take care of that small problem. Yet later down the road god needs a council with his sons to handle some really small problems with mortals. And if Lucifer was banned from heaven by god, what was he doing in the council of sons makeing decisions as to what happens to mortals? And god being concerned asking Lucifer how he was doing and what was he up to. God didn't know? I suppose god thought he was playing the snake and messing with humans lives. But no, it seems god had a plan of it's own to mess up Lot. The bible writers made god the boob again.

You are the boob. You won't be laughing long when you find your self sitting in hell. You should read the Holy Bible yourself, cause you have your info wrong. The bible was written by men inspired by every word of God's mouth. You puny man, what are you to put Him down? Not even a speck.

The Catholic Encyclopedia states Bible is Skeptic and Concocted
A. THE FORMATION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT CANON (A.D. 100-220)
http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/03274a.htm
The idea of a complete and clear-cut canon of the New Testament existing from the beginning, that is from Apostolic times, has no foundation in history. The Canon of the New Testament, like that of the Old, is the result of a development, of a process at once stimulated by disputes with doubters, both within and without the Church, and retarded by certain obscurities and natural hesitations, and which did not reach its final term until the dogmatic definition of the Tridentine Council. ("Canon of the New Testament")
There is a lot of confusion about the earliest existing texts of the Bible. The oldest extant manuscript of the Bible is believed to be the Codex Vaticanus, (preserved in the Vatican Library), which is slightly older than the Codex Sinaiticus (preserved in the British Library), both of which were transcribed in the fourth century.
As for the story of Jesus, there were at least 50 gospels written in the first and second century CE. Four of them (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John) were included in the official canon during the fourth century CE and are found today in every Bible. All of the original copies of the gospels were lost. What we have now are handwritten copies, which are an unknown number of replications removed from the originals.
Rudolf Bultmann, a prominent 20th-century professor of New Testament studies writes about the life of Jesus:
We can now know almost nothing concerning the life and personality of Jesus, since the early Christian sources show no interest in either, are moreover fragmentary and often legendary; and other sources about Jesus do not exist. (Bultmann 8)

In the Bible we have very limited and few pictures of what God is doing and this is but one small picture. God likes to drink wine and to get wine sometimes you must squeeze grapes and ferment them. Same is true of Christians, Job is the first book of the Bible historically, and many reasonable people would assume only bad things happen to bad people. But exactly the opposite is true, God put man on earth to try him and test his character, also to give him character to rule forever and ever. Logic will show you that people that suffer have much more character than people that go completely through life always doing the right thing, never failing always rich and famous. Do I need to use names? I think of Britney Spears or Paris Hilton.
Job was a perfect guy and the Bible was given to mankind to answer all our questions and the first and most important question mankind has for God is why do good men suffer and the book of Job answers that most important question.
God knew the end of Job's life from the beginning, but God was actually testing Job's good friends that came to his rescue to accuse him and tell him he was doing wrong is why bad things happened to him. But in the end God tells Job if he doesn't pray for his friends that accused him they were as good as dead men. Job 42:8Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.
