I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “buckets of protein”, I assume you talking about some type of protein shake or mixture. If so I would assume that would depend on the customs of the countries your are going to. If they won’t allow it then you can still get protein with everyday foods like peanut butter. Also in case you don’t know, if you strength train every day you should be careful because your muscles can actually detach if over worked. For example, work upper body one day then lower body the next, and also weight 30 to 60 seconds between each rep; the only muscles that can be worked daily are your calves and abs. When my brother was in the navy he saw that happen to a guy, his bicep muscle detached and was hanging on the bottom of his arm like a big lump of fat or something; very painful.

They have Gyms at every FOB I have been to. Where there is MWR there are gyms. But if you are in the Marines or Army in the middle of nowhere and you are at a FOB that you built and have no support elements and run to another FOB just to get food, then you might have to make your own stuff. You will be amazed at the abilities of others. I made a gym out of water jugs and a pole for bench press. 1 gal of water = 8 pounds. 4-5gal jugs + 20 lbs pole = 180 lbs. Punching bag made out of a duffel bag lined with a PT mat and filled with bottled water packed tight. and rocks in laundry bags for different pulls. Fun fun fun. There was alot more. you can make your own stuff out of anything

Your locker probably doesn't have enough room for it. Unless you are on an aircraft carrier I doubt you will find any exercise equipment. Real fighting ships don't have a lot of entertainment. You will be lucky to have movies and a checkerboard.
