If it does pass, I will be researching to see how my elected officials voted. If I find out they did vote to ratify it, I will A) let them know of my displeasure with their decision, B) tell everyone I know of their voting record, and C) NOT vote for them again.
Money talks and so do votes!!

I agree that they most likely won't get re-elected because there will be so many illegals here by then that they will vote all of the politicians we now have in office out of office and vote in their own people who represents them more so than any one of us.
I'll tell you a story of something I witnessed first hand.
Years ago I was friends with a woman who was an Administrator for a convalescent hospital in Stockton California and I briefly worked for her as her secretary.
Now the majority of the nurses and CNA's who worked for her were Philipinos and she didn't really have that much of a rapport with them even though she tried her best to openly communicate with them and work with them.
They snubbed her just like they snubbed everyone else who was not Phillipino and that included the residents as well.
So when the Head of Nurses retired who happened to be a white lady my friend decided it would be a good idea if she replaced her with a Phillipino woman who would then make her seem more acceptable to her subordinates.
I told her that was a terrible idea and would only backfire on her and it could even be disasterous for her if she went ahead and did it.
She didn't listen.
Welll she kept interviewing for the position until a Phillipino lady applied where my friend promptly hired her practically on the spot.
Needless to say within two months time my friend who was top dog at the hospital had to look for another job because the harassment she recieved was too much for her to handle and she couldn't take it anymore.
All of the nurses and CNA's banded together with the head of nurses against my friend and complained so much about her and to her that she was told to 'find another job or be fired' by the District Supervisor.
And the new Administrator was Philipino which made everyone just one big happy family.
The morale of this story is if they are granted amnesty and they gain any power what so ever by being more numerous than we are they will push us out while they step in and take control.
I have seen it with my own two eyes on more than one occassion and I'm telling you if the dirty politicians think they will be rewarded for pandering to the illegals they better think again.
Because they won't they'll just be replaced.

I think I would vote for those that supported it. Although the funny thing is, the politicians in my state voted for it once already, and I didn't even vote for them. But yeath I wuold vote for them again if the voted on this bill.

I don't think it will get passed. If it did, I'm sure there will be some cities rioting in the streets, this is so serious and tensions are that high in some areas. There would also be a lot more racism towards anyone Hispanic, illegal or not.
But, that being said, if by some miracle from hell that it did they would certainly lose my future votes.

That bill would quite literally tear the last few shreds of strength the USA has to pieces... If it were more socially acceptable, and would say that the people who vote to pass immigration should be drawn and quartered for their crimes against this country.

My vote will stay where it is simply because this will not pass. I believe you are right thought. If it had the chance to pass they certainly would lose alot of support.

Without redistricting, those of us here in CA are doomed to live with the same congressional deadbeats we currently have - the voter base here loves bleeding hearts, no matter what the consequences or cost of doing so.

no,there wont be any difference.those who will be favoured by the new legislation are likely to vote for respective senators and house reps and vice versa.but i believe that no one looses on this, the US govt is trying to start a new chapter on immigration and i think approval of this ambitious policy will do them good.for the 12 million illegal immigrants its your time to really come out and show appreciation ot the gesture of amnesty and help improve United States security and avoid breaking the law
