Funny - the Christian think tank that came up with ID is firmly opposed to it being taught in public schools. And most states that promote "Intelligent Design" are not actually promoting Intelligent Design at all.

Since neither side can PROOVE that their "theory" is correct, I would favor that both sides are taught, even in public schools.
Both Christians, Jews and Muslims believe in a Creator of heaven and earth, I think that would already conver the main populace of schools. So I would consider it fair that both sides are taught.
My only problem is the teacher. Will the teacher manipulate the facts to convince students of his/her side of the issue? If it can be taught objectively--without manipulation--that would be great.

If it's a secular school, only science should be taught; if it's a "religious" school, replace science class with religion class.
