Instant Cameras.

They develop the picture inside the camera. Polaroid made most of them and the film is rather expensive. Last I checked it came to around $1.00 a shot.

The cameras themselves are kinda cheap these days. I wouldn't spend more than $25.00

You can get a digital camera and a small 4x6 printer and come out cheaper in the long run. Polaroid film is expensive, and the cameras and film are getting rather hard to find.

All the Polariod instant cameras are somewhat bulky. You could probably pick up a cheap one at the flea market or yard sale. Just make sure it takes either 600 or Spectra film.

It's a Polaroid camera. Go to:

http://shopus.polaroid.com/shop/public/search/dsp_quick_search_results.cfm?category_code_id=625&establish_cookie=true

or you can google Polaroid instant film camera. The quality is not great, good but not great. But there is some thing fun about getting your photos in an instant.

Just one caveat, remember the song "Hey Ya" by Outcast? There is a line in that song "shake it, shake it like a Polaroid picture." It's some thing people would do to speed or enhance the developing process after the picture would eject from the camera.

The best thing to do is not to buy a older Polaroid, but to buya Mamiya 645, a film camera, and get a polaroid back for it. That gives you the best of both possible worlds - you can immediately see the results of what you are shooting, but for a permanent picture, you can replace the polaroid back with a film back and snap it on film. A lot of pros do their work just like that.

That is a polaroid camera. They do sell them, but they are very expensive and hard to find. Plus the film is really expensive. And they are still huge and bulky. But you can find cameras that eject the picture right after it is taken and they are smaller... but I dont know exactly what they are called... But the pictures, like the camera, are small also.

You're talking about a polaroid instant camrera. You can buy them at places like walmart, and CVS pharmacy stores. They're not very expensive. Under$50.
