Has anyone else noticed a lot of fake "LDS" people on Yahoo answers R & S lately? We had one person who was impersonating a poster who is LDS (one of my contacts) on R & S...he copied her name and avatar to try to fool others, and asked all kinds of questions bad-mouthing the LDS faith. When he was called out on it,, he changed his name and avatar to try and hide....I've seen two people with "Missionary" in their name who have nothing but Anti-Mormon questions and answers in their profiles, and I've also seen people posing as "Mormons" with no questions asked except the ones meant to generate hateful and disrespectful responses towards LDS.

Do people not have lives?

Hey yeah, it sucks! believe me. I'm still mad about what happened earlier.

Since last night I have noticed much more than before about the fake LDS. They ask those weird/stupid questions without knowing what they are talking about. And I believe that the person who stole my avatar and name is the same one that has the screen name of Mormon Missionary, see their questions and answers. He sent me a message and told me that he is an LDS basher and that he was a member of the church. Tonight he has changed his personality more than 3 times, 2 before using my name and 1 after.

I mean, those people should get a life they won't change our mind of that what we believe is true.
I also have noticed that more LDS questions have been posted between yesterday's midnight and today and I would say that very some of them are just sarcastic.

**Now I am sure that the guy that stole my avatar and Mormon Missionary are the same person, that "Mormon Missionary" guy just stole my signature, he used it in this question: http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjcQXxnk5UxieLu3t9G1kkXAFQx.?qid=20070613210219AAvZ3f1&show=7#profile-info-dEjdU1dXaa

**I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mormon Missionary and the fake me dude are the same, Mormon Missionary just apologized for cloning me and he and the fake me dude has changed his screen to Not Joseph Smith and the other one to Not Mormon Missionary. He said that he will stop bashing, I think that he just realized that we discovered him.

I'm always surprised that mormons appear to be such a sensitive bunch - although a TBM wouldn't put on such a charade as this character in question.

The morg is always going to get broadsided with all sorts of comments, good and bad. There's a lot of questions that should be opened up, but I've also noticed some of the deeper questions produce only a handful of responses. Simpler and obvious trolling questions brings out the feeding frenzy, especially from the morg who feel compelled to 'defend the faith'.

Unless you've been 'called to and set apart' for the Internet Mission, no mormon should actually be here, according to the Brethren. They're afraid exposure to outside thought will damage your testimony. I don't think it will, but who ya gonna listen to - me or the elders?

Many people here are age 14 or younger and they are just now learning to write well enough to form a good insult and since their teachers won't let them write insults into a story they come here to use them...

Some of the people that ask those questions only know about Mormons from the PBS special a little while ago which had many inaccuracies.. or perhaps from Wicked-o-pedia.. which YOU can add stuff to.. whether it is true or not (I heard a demonstration of this today on KVET.COM.. Sam & Bob show.. 5:30am to 10:00am Central time)...

But, there are also fakes of almost any "group" of people.. from all walks of life, race, color, religion, etc

Hi its me, Tan Man.

If you are unhappy with my Mountain Meadows posts, then once and for all give an honest answer why the LDS church did not bring the 100 or so church members who killed all those people in cold blood to justice. Then I will stop posting it. So far all I got from you is one lame excuse after another that it was somehow justified because of Hauns Mill or some troublemakers in the midst of the Fancher party.

Christ said to expect persecutions if you believe in Him. Thousands of people in the early church were Martyred by the Romans and Jews, yet Christ said "Turn the other cheek" and pray for those who persecute you.

He did not say "Go ahead and kill them if you want to, then take all their stuff and keep it."

Isnt the church guilty of murder as an accessory after the fact for not bringing them to Justice?

Brigham Young even implicated himself when he said "Vengeance is mine , and I have taken a little"

If any of you can give a reasonable answer as to why this crime went unpunished, I will close my Answers account and never post again.
Feel free to e-mail me

Tan Man.

I am for real about myself, an ex-mormon, who tells my story like it is and if mormons delete my answer, i always find a way of getting my deleted answer back onlin anyways, so I don't have to be an imposter, if my email gets deleted, I just make up another one and start answering the questions again until I piss some mormon off again and get my email accoun deleted again, as I see it, i haven't said anything that was toooooooooooooo offensive, but some mormons are very fragile to. Or some do not want to hear how abusive my mormon childhood was and would rather delete my life and wish I would just forget about my life, just as my parents wish i would just forget...

That is a very sad statement, I know the flesh is weak, but do we not have brains and for once and all, don't play into their hands, just ignore stupidity.

It'll only get worse. It's summer vacation and all the juveniles will be spending their summer on the computer.
