I had just thought about this. Not saying that I believe this. but what if the purpose of the other planets was that God had made other earths and we destroyed them like we are doing now so he wiped out the human race on thoseplanets and destroyed them so life could no longer exsist on them. So here we are and hes giving us another chance. Is this stupid? And no I am not questioning my faith.

Keep your faith like you are and leave the rest of it in GOD's hand and don't let the small things worry you.

I would say that idea is kind of silly because some of the things just wouldn't agree with the Laws of Physics. Sure, people would agree that God can create miracles, most of these people would also admit that these miracles are rare or that God don't intervene much. So let's just leave him out of the picture this time.
The first problem would be that humans just can't survive on the other planets. Our basic needs will always haunt us, such as breathing, drinking and warmth. There is very little oxygen and water in most of the other planets, and we know that oxygen and especially just don't disappear just like that. Even if oxygen and water could be teleported to Earth, there is still other problems like the temperature of the planets, further than Mars, planets are so cold that blood freezes, while on the other hand, planets close to the sun can literally make our blood boil. Aside from that there is also the problem of gravity, which are way too much for some of the larger planets. Mars is the closest planet to Earth, not just in distance but also in conditions, have for some time been explored by robots, unfortunately there have been no conclusive sign of any previous life there.

My advice to you would be that to stop looking at humans as the centre of the universe. The universe does not revolve around us, it most likely didn't even care about us. Of all the space on the universe, it is only here on Earth that we can survive, almost everywhere else we are instantly dead, and that's like 99.9999......999% of the known universe. In fact, the only reason why Earth is so comfortable for us is that humanity have spent so much time here that we are adapted to Earth's condition. Otherwise, if we go back in time, even in Earth, we could very well end up instantly dead too.

There really is no way to know this, so I don't think it's worth the time to consider it too much. Really. How could possibly ever know whether that is true? But, what is true that we are doing some pretty stupid things here on earth. I don't think I have to provide a list. We do have a chance to flourish here on earth, and we have some good ideas how we can do so, so let's deal with things that are knowable.

That is very possible. All we know for sure is that we were put on this earth to be tested. That might be one of the test He is putting us through. That is why we need to treat our envirnment with respect. There may be other "earths" out there, with more humans, or maybe with what we would call "alians". This is not stupid, and there is no way to know until judgment day.

That is an interesting line of thought. I like how your mind works. It's not dumb.

However, we are not destroying the earth or the atmosphere at all. The earth will be here, undestroyed long after we are gone. Unless something like huge asteroids/meteors hit it, or we get one of those sonic flash things like they were talking about on telly the other night.

But you do have a good imagination, and it is good to be able to think outside the norm like that.

Namaste.

It's not stupid. It's an interesting idea, but more along the lines of Christian science fiction.

God is all about second chances - that is why he sent his son Jesus to die, so that we could all get a clean slate and have a second chance to live a better life - and the second time we can't fail, because we will have his help all the way :)

The Bible contains no such teaching.

However, what grand things God may have in store for humanity once Satan this wicked system is taken care of is for those saved to find out.

Anything is possible. I'm glad to hear someone thinking outside the box regarding religion.

I don't think that's stupid at all. I've wondered similar things. I think it's good that you are open minded and not taking all of your surroundings and beliefs at face value.
