Well, he did tell us that the earth is hung on nothing, and that the nations are as the dust on the scales. In this way, God did indicate that we are of no consequence in the grand scale of things.
Please, remember that the Bible is directed not only to present-day man with its development in technology and knowledge. It was also directed to those that barely could read. Even the highly educated Paul would be surprised to see what is available to all regarding the universe in book as well as picture and video formats.
When you then consider that the Bible's creation account in my version is about 950 words including verse numbers, we can understand that the point with the creation account is to show us ------- that is was done orderly, that it was created, and the God did it.
I will tell you this -- the 24 hour creative days that a great many creationist support and the 6000 year number of the age of the earth ----- this is not supported by the Bible and is deception.

To be perfectly honest, I was never interested in prehistoric animals. I never read anything in The Bible that expressly identified &/or described creatures that could be visualized as T-Rex, Dinosaurs...etc. etc.
The Old Testament does refer to leviathans & behemoths.
Strong's concordance says The Old Testament useage of leviathans is O.T. name for crocodiles & whales, anything that wiggles and slithers through and lives in the deep waters.
Behemoths refer to water-oxen and/or hippopotamus.
On the other hand, other than creating the Heavens, the sun, the moon, all the other firmaments, Genesis does not specify other planets, but in Deuteronomy 18:9-15 you understand why. It is forbidden to worship or study the planets, stars, & moon, because it is against the Hebrew law. Other heathen nations believed in Divination, which is polytheism, which is the belief in many gods and worship of these idols which were the moon god, the planets were gods, the stars were gods. And one of the worst of these idol gods was Moloch, which believed in soothsaying and demanded februation of his worshippers, which is the passing through and/or tossing of babies/children into Moloch's sacrificial fires.

It does in Job 40:15-24:
"Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail [b] sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God, yet his Maker can approach him with his sword. The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. Under the lotus plants he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him. When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth. Can anyone capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose?"
Obviously, the term dinosaur, was not coined until modern day history (19th Century I believe), but the description is pretty clear.

Actually there is a verse in the bible that tell the co-existence of man and dinosaurs. It is Job 40:15-32
See, besides you I made Behemoth, that feeds on grass like an ox.
Behold the strength in his loins, and his vigor in the sinews of his belly.
He carries his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are like cables.
His bones are like tubes of bronze; his frame is like iron rods.
He came at the beginning of God's ways, and was made the taskmaster of his fellows;
For the produce of the mountains is brought to him, and of all wild animals he makes sport.
Under the lotus trees he lies, in coverts of the reedy swamp.
The lotus trees cover him with their shade; all about him are the poplars on the bank.
If the river grows violent, he is not disturbed; he is tranquil though the torrent surges about his mouth.
Who can capture him by his eyes, or pierce his nose with a trap?
Can you lead about Leviathan with a hook, or curb his tongue with a bit?
Can you put a rope into his nose, or pierce through his cheek with a gaff?
Will he then plead with you, time after time, or address you with tender words?
Will he make an agreement with you that you may have him as a slave forever?
Can you play with him, as with a bird? Can you put him in leash for your maidens?
Will the traders bargain for him? Will the merchants divide him up?
Can you fill his hide with barbs, or his head with fish spears?
Once you but lay a hand upon him, no need to recall any other conflict!
This has been a great debate with the theory of evolution.
Because evolution says that man came after the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs and man didn't co-exist.
There has been latest discoveries in texas of man and dinosaur footprints found in one layer riverbed.
In peru ancient burial artifacts have drawings of triceratops and other well known dinosaurs.
That is way evolution is still not the accepted concept.

I see nothing in the Bible about the grizzly bear or bald eagle, the lofty heights of Denali or the gorged rivers of salmon, winter nights that last all day long or summer days that last all night long. Yet, I live in Alaska and see these things for myself.
From the beginning to the end the Bible points to Jesus.

He didn't write about the giraffe or the lizard or the octopus. Why don't you ask that? They're all animals. Why would he mention the planets? He's not going to go bragging about all of his creations in the Bible. Stop trying to disprove Christianity. Just as you have your anti-God religion, we have our own pro-God religion, so leave us alone we don't bother you with pointless questions.

whaddya mean he didn't do anything about them? they're all dead, (the dinosaurs) aren't they?
He spoke to Job about the other lights in the heavens. It's a good read.
moses wrote:
13And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

I suppose that God didn't think that it was important enough to mention. After all, we can find out about some stuff on our own. The Bible is about something that we cannot see: God. Without the Bible, we would know nothing about him. So the Bible concentrates on God alone, not other stuff.

The Bible was written by men chosen by God, not the King Himself. And since most of those men were either prophets or disciples, they couldn't know all of God's mind.

Read Genesis. The word for dinosaur is most likely Behemoth.
