Why is it so important to you to feel persecuted?

I feel it is that if you are the most persecuted, your pain is of a better quality

I can understand why you might get that impression, but I don't think any christians really desire persecution. It may appear that way but really they find the task of being about God's business more important than their own safety, so they don't quit when you would otherwise expect them to.
Martyrs today and throughout history have chosen death when given the option to give up their faith and live.
Are they crazy, or do they know something that you don't know?

It's not hard to feel persecuted with all the Atheists spreading their dogma on YA

Continually, its part of the mindset to see questions, challenges and not getting your own way all the time as 'persecution'. All rather childlike if you ask me.

because jesus said that they would hate his followers because they hated him first. and he predicted that his true followers would be hated, and persecuted.

so for them to feel like they are living according to jesus's teachings that they must be persecuted.
