I'm just interested in seeing the Christian response here. After all, miracles can't cut it because I've seen Penn&Teller perform acts that seem completely miraculous but with no supernatural connotations once-so-ever. In addition, we can't just take them at their say-so, because there are plenty of nut jobs that claim to be the second coming. So Christians, how will you know? Will you?

1. It will be proceeded by a false Christ, performing miracles, and deceiving many.
2. He will not touch the ground.
3. Every eye will see Him. (TV doesn't count)
4. The dead in Christ will rise, clothed in immortality and ascend to meet Him in the clouds.
5. No one will be debating whether it is Jesus when He comes. If anyone is ever saying, I don't think this is Jesus, IT IS NOT HIM!

Matthew 24:30-31
30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

I will know. I will hear a trumpet sound. Then in a blink of an eye, God will remove me from earth, and give me a new body. If you really want to research it, get a study bible, and search for the answers you are looking for. Your question makes you sound ignorant because you are mocking something you dont understand. Just because you have been deceived by untruths and manipulations, doesnt mean we are going to loose our faith. Good luck to you.

The Second Coming of Christ will take place in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Rapture-everyone who repented of their sins and accepted Jesus as their Saviour before they passed away will come out of their graves with soul and glorified body united and will go meet Jesus in the clouds, then all on earth on that great day who have never passed away and have repented of their sins and accepted Jesus as their Saviour will be transformed into their glorified bodies and follow the resurrected christians to Jesus in the clouds and Jesus will take them back to Heaven to give them whatever rewards awaiting in Heaven for them, then a wonderful marriage supper. Meanwhile on earth the man who signs a peace treaty with Israel promising 7 years of peace will be revealed as the Anti-Christ and the ones left on earth will begin the Tribulation Period of which the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 will be the worst.
Phase 2: Jesus comes to earth at the end of the 7 years of Tribulation and will cause Satan to be bound and sealed in the bottomless pit and Jesus destroys all evil on earth and will set up a Kingdom on earth and will rule the earth with the help of his followers he brings back to earth from Heaven for a thousand years. In Phase 2 you will know Jesus has come back to earth because all eyes will see him and every knee will bow to Jesus and every mouth will confess Jesus to be the Son of God and Saviour of all who chose to repent and follow him.

The second coming is obviously misunderstood by you. We, as Christians, will return with Christ upon His "second coming." And, oh yes, we will know who He is, will you? I pray so!

By the way, I really think you are referring to the rapture with this question. You should read and understand these before blindly trying to poke fun.

Because when He truly comes again all the dead will rise and the righteous will be transformed and meet Him in the sky. Christ will not touch the ground again either.

Read Zechariah 14 and you'll see that there are no guessing games about it. And also Jude, it's sounds quite visual and plain to see.
