It's true God never designed hell with the intetion of a human soul to be put in there. Oh, wait you are talking about after Adam's first wife Lilith divorced him and then Eve came along? LOL! Next thing you're going to tell me is that there is an arch angel named Metatron. Oh, wait.....

Because there simply is no such a place, and Adam & Eve are simply a myth to, there is no where written scripture that God ever mentions a place called hell, It's simply mans imagination, It is man that has created hell not God.

Oddly, the Old Testament says very little about the afterlife. The is no express mention of either Heaven or Hell for humans.

But since the New Testament referrs to Hell as the "second death", one could argue that Hell is perhaps implied in all of those death threats in the Old Testament.

---------------------------------

The word of the LORD came to me: "What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel:
" 'The fathers eat sour grapes,
and the children's teeth are set on edge'?
"As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son—both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die.
~Ezekiel 18:1-4 (NIV)

He didn't threaten them with hell. Hell was made up by Catholics in the medevil times. There was no Adam and Eve and no Garden of Eden. It is a children's story.

if adam did not commit a sin there would be no reason for living. we would live and go to heaven. on top of that we would all be good. how boring, pointless, and useless. adam commited the sin which created hell and put a twist on life. ahhhhhhh. now we have a reason to live. we where put on earth to choose good or bad, follow right or wrong. think about it

Because "Hell" is not part of God's making. That's a human abstract idea developed specifically to keep Christians in line .....

OOO How's about that for stirring the hornet's nest?

God gets bashed enough as it is by people who don't believe in Him.

By threatening Adam and Eve with hell, He would have only invited more of this bashing. Why would He do that?
