Audrey I was a "joho for abour 22 years" I am now 47 it took me about 20 years to recover from abuse caused by the doctrine and my family...There was a lot of child abuse in my congregation..I am now a Christian, but it took me a lot of time and pain.

Robert P You have no clue..But I will give you a bit of an idea...The Witnesses convinced me that if I didn't give my child to them to be raised as a true christian, that he would die during armagedon with me, because i had left the faith. Being still indoctrinated as i WAS..I chose to try to end my life, because it would be selfish foe me to keep my son with me if I truely loved him...What Cult has the right to manipilate someone like that>?!

They preach a false gospel from a false bible. They re wrote The Holy Bible to fit their agenda and called it a new world translation. And are leading many many people down the wrong path.

Notice, No JWs have answered this blog yet. Not that I'm a JW, but there's a lot of hatred fizzing around the forum, which is also against the true gospel.

I think that Jws aren't preaching the whole truth, only part of it. Their issue is that, like many religions, they've stuck one part of the Bible on their doctrinal statement (Jehovah) and use that one part--and only that one part--to live their life. Forget the work of Christ on the cross, forget the promise of a new heaven and earth. It's all here, folks. Jehovah. Old Testament style. Stick to the foundation. And all that stuff.

I think there are some genuinely confused, brainwashed people in every religion--including mine--that need to start actually thinking about what they believe and decide for themselves. As with you. Do YOU believe that JW's are preaching the only true gospel, friend? All that matters when your body hits 6 feet below is what you believed happens after. Whether it was true or not is your responsibility to passionately research, think, pray about and discover for yourself. May God give you wisdom as you seek that final truth.

Simply put - they are a cult. There are many sincere people who are swallowed up in this mind controlling group. My sister is one, and they are not allowed to think for themselves.
They are warned against associating with those who don't believe as they do, as if their adherents can't stand on what they believe without the strength and help of the organization.

There are so many discrepancies in their teaching that deny accepted Christian doctrine. There are unfulfilled prophecies, the history of their founder, the changes in doctrine since they were first founded, their rejection of things like birthdays, and on and on the list could go. To break all this down would require a book.

The most important thing is that they reject Christ as God. They teach He is Michael the Archangel which would make Him a created being.

I agree with some but not all of their beliefs. It's funny they believe that they are practicing the long lost 1st century Christianity version while the Mormons believe they are practicing Christianity the way it was suppose to be but was edited & corrupted by history. These two versions of Christianity couldn't be more further away from each others beliefs if they tried! I 've got no beef with Jehovas Witnesses but Mormons are a pet peeve of mine.

Come on now.. Everybody knows that the Mormons are the only TRUE church.

Get a clue.. Jehovah's Witnesses... While almost as crazy as Mormons, don't have the same TRUE and PURE gospel.

Of course not! They, of course, will tell you otherwise. But I've don't extensive reseach on that organization because someone tried to convert me, but there were way too many flaws and discrepancies in their doctrine. Do not ever think of joining until you've done your research APART from the JWs (since they will tell you lies). It is a modern day cult!

If they were, then maybe so. But, their doctrine and alleged Greek translation is way off. It is tailored to unbelief of that which has been established for thousands of years.

Actually, since they don't believe that Jesus is Who even He said He is, what Gospel can they preach? Where is the Good News?

Gads! Not on your (or my) life!

Me thinks that they are so far off that it's unbelievable!

However, it is fun to invite them into your home when one really knows something about the Bible!

Done that a few time and they don't stand a chance!

Thx 4 the question!

You know why i know Jehovah´s witnesses are true because a lot of people hate them, exactly what Jesus said that would happens to his followers, it is incredible how only 7 million people that do not involve in anything wake up so many hate, from Catholics, the "christians" atheist ,etc etc
if you consider that more people are of any other groups and are against each other all of you joint together only to attack JWS, that is why I know that we are the one that hold the truth.
