I am a big Jr. fan and I am not angry. I understand that Junior just wants to win more and he just didn't think that was possible at D.E.I.

nope. it was the 2nd best decision of his career (his BEST being leaving DEI).

And for lucasandmariepape, who is upset...the FANS didn't make Jr the star that he is. IMHO, he'll become an even BIGGER star now that he will have the equipment to make him a title contender.

What's there to be angry about? All Dale Jr did was go to where he thought was best for him and if him going to Hendrick is his answer so be it. I for one am not an overly hardcore Dale Jr fan, but all I can say is respect the descion he made and no one else is going to change his mind, not even his over zealous fans that are liking to cry about this stuff and say that he has gone to the dark side. This is just racing, if you cheered for him before, don't let your personal animosity towards Hendrick overshadow that, just keep cheering him, its not like Dale Jr is going to change into a different person just by switching teams.

Nope, not in the least. Jr. wants to win and nowadays Hendrick is the place to do it. Besides Jr's ties to Rick go way back, remember Jr's grandfather was a Hendrick employee, and Hendrick's first stock car win was a Busch race with Dale Sr. behind the wheel. The only sad part is now I have to be nicer to Jimmy Johnson.

I've been following Dale jr since I was like, ten and I'm 21 now...I think he made a great choice, and I support him 100%! He is a great guy and I'm happy for him. You can't get upset because there is nothing you can do about it so why bother. Plus I'm one of those rare people who is also a Jeff Gordon fan( I know its weird) so...its all good!

Whats to be angry about? You have to understand that Jrs. relationship with his step mother has always been shaky. They have never liked each, or got along since Dale was a young boy. And when she began running DEI she held that grudge and that didnt work for the company at all. She was totally holding back and keeping JR from reaching his potential.

Not at all. Jr wants to win. He said himself he wasn't interested in driving the 3 car now like some suspected. He wants to be his own man and make his own way. Hell, if you were moving to a new team, why not go with who's winning, f--k they're dominating right now. It would be stupid to think otherwise. The biggest name in nascar wants to win now and who is winning now, Hendrick. This will make or break his career. I mean, we now know that he will have the best possible equipment, It's now up to the driver.

I'm happy if he's happy. I'm a huge fan of Dale Jr. I have a major crush on him. I think if he feels he can win with them. I say go for it. I know this decision wasn't easy for him. I know he's had to be in a world all by himself here lately......

Angry? Why? Dale Jr. was going nowhere at DEI. I wish him all the happiness in the world. Maybe he can get down to racing and leave all the drama to Teresa.

jr did not leave because he wants to win well maybe secondary to the real reason he wanted 51 percent and theresa said no. dale sr left her the company she could have done it but didn't. last contract negotiation he wanted to start a bush team, she eventually did that. dei is a museam basically without jr bt hey she will probably get shrub lol and truex still has another year on his contract. jr has his fame due to his name he doesn't even have to back it up. don't get me wrong i like jr and hate gordon...maybe he wants to show up gordon with hendrick power...or there was something real interesting on that napkin contract they signed in 1991. to answer your question...mad no just don't he don't turn into one of "them" then i will be disgusted

This is a bussiness matter.Sure we all had our "wish" as where we would like to see Junior at,but he had to do what is right for him.
As to fan base there will still be the Junior the driver fans, but not in the "red army" amount of fans.

Very much so! I feel as this is a slap in the face. Yes, his name is a big one, but, who really got him where he is today?? The FANS!! This is shitty!! Hendrick?? My god I never saw that one coming....He could have went anywhere and I would have continued to be a fan...but Hendrick??? That is a blatant slap in the face of his fans! And let me make myself clear on the reasons I hate Hendricks drivers 1) They whine constantly! 2) They get special treatment form Nascar. Ex: Pocono- When Jimmie was throwing **** all over the track, do they throw a caution? I think not! But, when Newman went to pass Jeff Gordon, oooooooooh Caution! it's bull. i would like to think that I'm a true fan and I would go with him anywhere, but this is a hard one to swallow!!!
