You can't get rid of a tan. Once you tan, your skin gets darker and the only thing left to do is to wait until the tan fades naturally. From now on, just make sure to apply sunblock lotion on your arms (or anywhere else you don't want to tan)before you go out (make sure it's at least SPF 40+ in order to prevent getting a tan). Though you can't get rid of a tan, you can speed up the rate at which it fades. In order to do that, take many showers and make sure to scrub the tanned areas hard (not too hard) with a shower sponge. This makes the old skin cells which is the outer layer of the skin, shed faster until the tanned skin cells shed and you're left with your natural color underneath the tan.
