I'd wait to do the laser stuff. It's pretty expensive, and you never know what kind of look you (or your husband...) be into when you're older ;)
It's normal to shave there, though. When I was in 8th grade, I went to a birthday party where we were playing "Never Have I Ever" and the subject of shaving came up, and a lot of girls even admitted to shaving their stomachs, arms, etc. I saw a famous woman on Oprah say that she hates body hair so much that she shaves her toes, just for good measure.
I use scissors down there to keep everything neatly trimmed and to avoid razor burn and ingrown hairs (red bumps, itchiness, irritated skin, etc). I had a friend who got a bikini wax right before she started college (as a sort of "welcome to womanhood" ritual), and she said it was the most physically painful thing ever. Lasers are expensive and can cause scarring, and you have to go back again and again. If you want to be really smooth, just get special Nair for Bikini (it even comes in vanilla bean scent). Nair is kind of messy, but I'd rather hang out naked in my bathroom for 10 minutes and try not to move and have pain-free hair removal than have some stranger yank all the hair out of me one wax strip at a time. Electrolysis will be an option if I ever strike it rich :)

Nah, maybe it just makes things seem cleaner to you. I would hold off on the laser until you are older. If you like it all gone, you might not always like it that way. Maybe some of those bikini area depilatory creams or waxes would last longer.

I've been shaving since I was 11. My sister has been shaving since she was 9 or 10. So I think it's ok.

i wouldn't get laser, but shaving is ok if you need it for swimsuit season. you may get ingrown hairs, so you should use somthing like bikini zone when you are done. also, shave on a day you won't be swimming or sweating. otherwise, you will get irritated.

Most offices won't preform it on anyone under 16. And it's wicked expensive.
At your age I dont think it is that important, just your thighs for bathing suits, maybe. But whatever floats your boat!
Good luck!

If you want to have it done, then go for it. Just be aware that the process is NOT cheap.
