I am trying to decide on what to study in college.I know I want to be in the medical profession. But I really don't want to be a Dr or anything like that. But yet I still want it to be a very helpful job.Are there any jobs that would fit this description but not take 4 years of college?

you can be a LVN licensed vocational nurse its also called LPN licensed practical nurse. This only takes 2yrs to complete, you will get your associates degree. If you ever want a higher position nursing job you can always go back to school for 2yrs get get it! Many nurses do this. And you still make a ton of money!

Nursing? There are many male nurses these days - and pay is decent, jobs are plentiful, and you certainly would be in a very helpful job.
