I currently am using Ares, but it doesn't seem to be working as good as it used to. Does anyone know of any other softwares don't won't give your computer any viruses and is free?

There are none that wont' give you a virus. They are all capable of giving you a virus if you are not careful in what your downloading. I'd suggest limewire just be careful of what you download.

all file sharing is dangerous more so now the copy right people are jumping on the software pirates of music, video, and movies they are now giving out warnings that they will prosecute you when your caught and the will catch you
thats without getting viruses...
