ok this is really weird and hard to explain but it works 99% of the time get a glass of water and put your lip over the side farthest from yu then bend for ward and drink the water for a few seconds through a hiccup if you have to and it shoukld go away
another trick is to concentrate REALLY hard on something else and they might go away good luck

You poor thing. This is how I get rid of them.
Take a really deep breath, so much that your chest is totally expanded.
You should be able to feel your diaphram flex, its right at the bottom of your rib cage. Keep it flexed, your chest puffed up and take little breaths. It may take a couple of minutes, but it WILL work.
The diaphram is the muscle under your lungs that is spasming and causing your hiccups.
Keep it tight and flexed for a short time will make that twitch go away.

a hiccup is the spasm of the diaphram, muscle at the base of your lungs....
try:
holding your breath for as long as it takes....
breathing into a paperbag.....
swallow a spoonful of sugar or peanut butter....
bending forward at the waist, drink a glass of water from the wrong side of the glass ....(this is the most funniest, but seems to work)

Get a glass of room temp. water, pinch your nose (this is important), and then drink the water with your head back until you can't drink any longer. This cures hiccups 99% of the time.

Okay this is what my grandma has told me to do many of times and it works. is Hold your pinkies as far out as possible and slowly move them to gether and then when they when the reach they should be gone but you need to hold your breath the whole time. Or sit there and hold your breath and tap your nose for 30 seconds. I know these sound stupid but they really do work.
P.S. Don't drink sugary drinks it makes them worse.

Hold your breath for 10 seconds or drink lemon juice. The lemon is so sweet that it will get rid of them in a snap.

a shot of Jagermiester does it every time. I have had to go to the store and buy a little bottle when I get them bad like you and I don't have any on hand, it's almost instant. Also bitters with club soda works almost as well, it's the spices in them that help : )

BOO! Sorry, I couldn't resist. Take a paper bag and breath in an out through your mouth into it. Breathing in carbon dioxide will help you. If that doesn't help, my mother told me to take a spoonful of sugar slowly.
If this is a serious problem, you need to consult a doctor.

Three things to try. Drink 8 oz glass of water non=stop. Suck on a spoonfull of sugar. Eat a teaspoon of peanut butter. Or 4th thing to try. Hold your breath until you stop or start turning blue.Use this only as a last resort.

Some people say that if you drink a glass of water really fast it will help. When ever I get the hic cups, i eat a piece of bread. I've also heard that if some one scares you, it will help........ BOO! LOL Hope that helps. If you can't get rid of the hic cups soon, call your doctor. He/she may have another solution.
