Im looking for a photoshop package that is inexpensive that mainly lets me touch up a few photos in black/white, sephia, and cropping so forth. All i've been using is my windows paint that only allows me to crop photos. Do they make such software that will give me basic editing that wont cost an arm and a leg?

How about free, and more than just basic editing?

The GIMP

or GimpShop

Google offers a fairly nice program for simple photo editing. It's called Picasa. Here's the url

That is for minor stuff and it's free. But if you want something that does a more then try Pixela. I can't remember were I found the program but it works pretty well and it's free. I hope you like those programs.

The GIMP is free and offers all the heavy-duty stuff. Although those familiar with Photoshop can have trouble adjusting to the menus, if you've never used photoshop you'll find it easy to use and rather intuitive.

Photoshop Elements is the cheaper version.
There are freebies like GimpShop, or Paint .NET
