It is frowned upon by almost any church that I have been in, to eat anything that would dye your lips so that you would appear to be a woman. Of course there are weird churches out there, so it may be not entirely out of the question for someplace to encourage eating them as well.
Just to be safe, eat the green ones.

No, God created Pistachio nuts and intends for us to eat them everywhere, all the time. Why aren't you eating Pistachio nuts right now? Do you want to end up in hell?!?!?!?

Of course... some churches won't let you do anything, some churches will not let you wear your favorite pants suit, or let you put on a make up and I need make-up. lol. Some people needs make-up ok?..... however, all these things are not important, the important thing is that you go to church to worship the Lord with all of your heart, strength and your soul. Not that I am aware of, I would think that they might not like if people eat them and dump their shells everywhere.
